Occurs on the high plains of Colorado from Kansas west to the foothills from 3,500-5,500ft. Includes cities such as Denver, Aurora, Greeley, Brighton, Akron, and Burlington.
Occurs along the lower elevations of foothills and also extends out onto the plains south of Denver along the Palmer Divide in areas from 5,500ft-8,000ft. Includes cities such as Boulder, Colorado Springs, Morrison, Ft. Collins, Parker, Kiowa, and Golden.
Occurs in very sandy areas of the high plains, especially sand hills, and along the floodplains of major plains rivers. Includes cities such as Wray, Kit Carson, Eads, Ft. Morgan, and Sterling.
Occurs in the foothills and Palmer Divide at elevations from 6,000ft. up to 9,000ft. Includes cities such as Conifer, Evergreen, Deckers, and Pine Junction..
MIDDLE PARK BIG SAGEBRUSH SHRUBLANDS
Occurs in valley areas and foothills of Middle Park.  Includes cities such as Hot Sulphur Springs, Kremmling, Granby and areas north of Silverthorne.
